Click stool

Click Stool is a height-adjustable children’s stool designed to grow with its user. Inspired by mechanical ratchet systems, the stool allows its seat height to be easily adjusted through a tactile “click” motion—making growth something children can feel and participate in. The project explores how simple mechanical interaction and layered wooden structures can transform a functional object into an emotional companion through time.
